It depends how they built support for it, but yeah my understanding is that it would indeed be identical to their LN Address after you set things up
Not suggesting you use this for all apps. Some use cases are okay. Thin clients connecting to big APIs for example. Wouldn’t do it on an app holding keys. But you certainly manage it in segregated CI cloud envs, definitely not in a dev’s machine. Its not unlike a managed CI pipeline. But I hear the concerns in general.
It’s really not. Works quite well for UI changes for example. But anything sizable usually requires a new deployment.
If you’re using a native iOS app then no. If you use something like RN then you could achieve this with OTA updates. But it’s not for all things. Anytime there’s a native change we must process an app review

Not really. Whst it does is whenever someone tries to pay you at (username)@payaddress.co, that server will request a LN invoice from YOUR node/backend (the one you just setup on your form). So I guess technically you can attach a LN Address to your node/backend.
