Udi, you’ve been around long enough to see how these things go. Twitter was always viewed as the ‘weird’ platform by allowing pseudonyms to tweet with its strict character limit because Jack wanted to make sure mobile users can participate. Eventually politicians and ‘normal’ people hopped on board.

I’m far from a laser eyed maxi, but it’s not surprising that nostr attracted a certain crowd first. The great thing is that it will continue to spread out over time.

Don’t fall for the trap of viewing this like an old bulletin board. Those things still exist, but these platforms are open to all with no central topic.

One of the biggest disappointments in mobile is the lack of ability for people to choose their own OS as one could do on a custom built desktop or x86 laptop. There is no reason why this shouldn’t be the norm.

Such a shame Ubuntu Touch failed, but we are seeing signs of great signs of advancement with projects such as graphene and calyx!
