Yesterday, I was blessed to converse with a woman who works in technology. Looking into one another’s eyes 👀 helped us both *understand* each other faster & deeper than online allows. Fabulous reminder for me as one who lived primarily offline until a few years ago.

She said: Introverts don’t do small talk.

Anything they say (her words) has a purpose.

Literally grabbed my journal to make sure to say exactly what she said.

Met her beautiful children. They played putt-putt. We spoke of being women of a certain age who were able to thrive in male dominated careers. Healing ❤️‍🩹 Thanked her a bit too profusely as my extrovert self is apt to. 🤣

Either way: She said she was happy to be my muse.

Thanked her & her mother for raising a fierce woman. It was nice to see a reflection IRL.

Hope this makes sense. Most of the time: I don’t to most people. But working to be well able to do so online better.
