Maybe because of the SIM cards. I think the 12 is one of the last that has de capacity to use physical SIM cards. All future versions use e-Sim.
Also, the Pro Max 12, has dual SIM capacity.
Me being from LATAM, that freedom of easy switching, is invaluable.

I’m a big fan of Mexico, but distrust the government. Same goes for any country. Let’s not make Bitcoin about governments and legal tender. Let’s make it about adoption, let’s make sure we onboard millions of people this year. Let’s aim for better education so people avoid crypto scams.
Mexico’s future isn’t about bitcoin, it’s about changing the system completely… And by the way, Bitcoin helps do part of it.
