SCAM EMAIL ALERT!

The email—supposedly—from myself to myself.

In it, a hacker wrote that they had installed a Trojan on my device, recorded my activity, and that if I didn’t send $800 in Bitcoin, they would send videos of me watching porn and masturbating to all my contacts.

“I think you really don’t want that, given the specifics of the videos you like to watch (you know exactly what I mean).”

This is a scam gaining traction.

1. Don’t panic.

2. Forward to report@phishing.gov.uk

3. Ignore.
