Mr Trump is determined to be special:
--
Donald Trump has moved to sever Georgia case from the defendants seeking a speedy trial, arguing that it would violate his right to a fair process.
“President Trump moves the Court to sever his case from those of his co-defendants who have demanded a speedy trial ... and who have a scheduled trial date of October 23, 2023,” lawyer Steven Sadow wrote in a filing on Thursday.
The filing states that the timeline wouldn’t allow for the counsel to “have sufficient time to prepare President Trump’s case”.
“Requiring less than two months preparation time to defend a 98-page indictment, charging 19 defendants, with 41 various charges including a RICO conspiracy charge with 161 Overt Acts, Solicitation of Violation of Oath by Public Officer, False Statements and Writings, Forgery, Influencing Witnesses, Computer Crimes, Conspiracy to Defraud the State, and other offenses would violate President Trump’s federal and state constitutional rights to a fair trial and due process of law,” Mr Sadow adds.

hang on a second - why are you calling him "President Trump"? Is this some ghastly Critical Theory thing where feelings are more important than empirical facts, and you actually think he's still your president if you can just swing the narrative? Get real with democracy dude. Although, don't take too long about it, because your client has to answer 41 charges of corruption and you're clearly sweating buckets over it.

Everyone, I’d like you to meet Holly Anagnos.
Early this past month, Holly was unexpectedly laid off from her job and was counting on being a vendor at an upcoming food festival to make ends meet for this month. Four days before the scheduled occasion, the head of the event organization sent her an email telling her that she was being excluded from participating because of her gender critical and political beliefs. The email, citing Holly's protected expression of her beliefs, read in part, "While we believe your food and service of food would have been a great fit, we have discovered that your values and opinions do not align with the mission of (our organization). Because of this, we will not be using you as a vendor at our event."
So, naturally, Fred Sargeant (being the magnificent man he is) wrote an email to the event organizer asking why.
Though he didn’t get a response, the organizer - one Amber Leventry - did reach out to Holly and you, My Lovely Readers, are to make particular note of the pronouns at the beginning and end of the email.
It should be noted that, after having jerked Holly around because the receipt was “blurry”, Amber did reimburse Holly - for all of
$79.05, far short of the money she would have received (enough to cover more than food prep expenses such as rent and bills) had Holly been allowed to be a vendor.
So, right off the bat two assumptions are made clear: that Holly is not only “transphobic” because she doesn’t think that any amount of surgery, hormones or pronouns grants humans the ability to change sex but that Holly is also a racist because she’s skeptical of Critical Race Theory (CRT).
CRT mandates the integration of its concepts across various subjects like English, social studies, science, and mathematics, rather than confining them to a single course. Importantly, these concepts are not introduced as debatable viewpoints open for student discussion and analysis. Instead, they are presented as established truths that students are expected to accept and follow. Failing to do so results not only in being labeled as holding racist beliefs, but also in facing official penalties such as detention, suspension, severe employment jeopardy or mandatory participation in a "restorative justice" struggle session. Furthermore, teachers are obligated to instruct these concepts irrespective of objections, and expressing dissenting opinions contrary to the values of the School Board on personal social media accounts can lead to disciplinary measures.
Holly knows this and is understandably skeptical.
Policies and curricula like CRT are being aggressively promoted by national educators’ associations and included in school districts around the country.
Holly’s skepticism of CRT doesn’t make her a racist, but Amber here is laying it on thick with the struggle session.
Many of CRT’s most prominent academics and adherents impugn the motives of anyone who disagrees with them. They refuse to consider the possibility that critics might have something to add to the discussion, which is why it plays well on places like Twitter.
And precisely because Holly Anagnos is white.
This is an ideology founded on the idea that racism is systemic, that it lives in every interaction, and that it’s perpetuated by almost every member of the dominant race. That makes CRT adherents inherently skeptical of the motives of anyone who disagrees with them.
Or, as the thinking goes, racism is pervasive, systemic, and deeply ingrained therefore all whites are oppressors.

NB: Fred Sargeant is one of the original gay men who founded Pride, unlike the fake trans people who weren't even trans that the trans activists keep telling you were the real trans founders. He has been cancelled by the LGBTQIA++ numerous times for standing up the historical fact.

Was Shane convicted of the kiddie porn charges? If so it seems scandalous that he would be allowed to hold any position of authority involving children. If not, then innocent until proven guilty.
I would be very suspect about why kids need to be read books about gender, because gender is not actual, provable stuff. They need to learn about sex and biological function, for sure. But if they are being indoctrinated with genderspirits then this is as bad as them being told that life after death is real, or that they need to wear a niqab in order to be a good person.
Sure, although there are also many Christians who are pro-choice. In most cases there is a happy medium to be drawn in the form of a cut-off date for gestation after which everyone can pretty much agree that the mother has had sufficient time to consider her position. Terminating a six-month-old foetus is clearly in no way the same thing as terminating a six-day-old one that you didn't know was there and didn't want. And of course there are extenuating circumstances such as rape or where the woman has been detained against her will to prevent abortion occurring within a suitable timescale.
Everyone will agree that it is better for a child to be born into a family that wants it, and science shows that it is many times better for that family to include its biological mother. So the mother actually wanting the child is really very important, if we are looking to maximise human happiness rather than to maximise the population of humans on earth (I don't think we're short). And forcing a mother to carry a child she doesn't want is cruelty, especially since she may herself die as a result. Everyone involved has to agree, and as we already pointed out, if you haven't reached majority, you don't get to have a vote since you don't yet understand the issues. Thus we have to side with the mother by default.
Trying to get these guys on nostr lol:

I disagree with his thesis that a foetus is a person. By its very nature it is not a person since it hasn't been born yet. You will find the very same people arguing that foetuses are full people with rights, who are arguing simultaneously that children should not have the vote and do not have the capacity to make informed decisions - which I agree is fair enough, because they are not actually fully formed people yet. And most importantly, the foetus is part of the body of the mother, until is it born and the umbilical cord is cut, which seems to be overlooked a great deal. The life of the mother, as the host organism, overrides that of the foetus.
He does make some important points about the fact that you can't identify as a woman if you can't define what a woman is. That is clearly oxymoronic.

It should come as no surprise that politicians in thrall to the trans movement are proposing authoritarian policies in the name of ‘trans rights’. This is, after all, a fundamentally anti-liberal, regressive ideology. It goes well beyond campaigning for the right of individuals to articulate whatever identity they wish.
Even during those dark days when homosexuality was outlawed in the UK, it was not illegal to present as another gender. Britain, after all, has a long tradition of transvestitism among both men and women. Rather than liberate people from repressive laws, trans ideology seeks to impose a whole range of oppressive obligations upon society at large. It is but one branch on a wider tree of allied ideologies – including critical race theory and extreme environmentalism. The ultimate objective of these movements is to forcibly restructure society and to severely restrict the expression of competing views.
Queer Theory is for sure related to Critical Race Theory. But "extreme environmentalism"? Not sure how you made that link.
You just contradicted yourself, unless you are going to try to argue that "anyone who has been wronged" is not "a group of people".
Why are women so drawn to astrology, tarots, mediumship, gnosticism, meditation, crystals, and laws of attraction? Are they really more spiritual than men?

Maybe women are more drawn to the idea of magic being able to solve your problems because men have an advantage with physical solutions.
When is this trans things going to stop being popular? ... Seems like everyone is suddenly trans now. Any idea when this will lose its popularity?

Yes indeed
Hey, most of us lesbians have long hair.
Especially since most young butch lesbians nowadays have been told they're trans and need to self-mutilate in order to realize their inner destiny as a man. Because being a lesbian would be shameful in trans world or something, unless you were actually born a man, in which case you're more of a lesbian than cis women could ever be. Apparently.
Sure, nobody wants to pay taxes. But most people acknowledge that the taxes pay for things that they couldn't provide themselves, certainly not without a great deal of additional effort.
And if you really don't want to pay taxes, then just don't have a job or a house and go and live off berries in the wilderness. Problem solved. Nobody is actually forcing you to be a member of society.

Employment judge Kathryn Patricia Ramsden said: “Despite the [company’s] position, the Tribunal does not consider the insult ‘w----r’ to be a gender-neutral term.
“The panel members’ own experiences of use of that term is that it is applied to men, and that there are equivalent but different swear words that are specifically used in common parlance to insult women.”
The tribunal - heard in Croydon, south London - heard that Miss Fischer began working for London United Busways at their Hounslow bus yard in 2020 until her contract was terminated on January 15 2021.
She said she was called a “w----r” by another driver on January 13, 2021, and that the company was “male-dominated”.
