I found my invite code here so I’ve been fairly open about nostr on Bluesky. There was one incident where a girl shouted “I want to get fucked!” and called me a dweeb.
Nostr is a great refuge when things get too hot and heavy on Friday nights, lol.
Actually starting to suspect a lot more Bluesky people came over to set up shop here than you might suspect. I’m sure most keep a philosophy of separate identity worlds unlike the gripe with Twitter. This makes sense because Bluesky is such a performative space which gives it its charm. So naturally there are curtains drawn.
Thinking about how this might work and I’m wondering pay sats to the author referenced in the footnote?

This is a conversation about a new NDL press release on the Forward about threats made to houses of worship. Two I retesting things in the article:
Orange County police are quoted as saying such threats “are not a crime” which is bullshit.
No details on any of the perpetrators for any of the many many cases listed because of an “ongoing investigation”.
Those two facts leave open to speculation that by saying this is not a crime they are essentially inviting more such crime for some despicable reason and it has turned out in the past that a large percentage of these threats are made by people from within the worshiping community for some beef totally unrelated to “hate”.
Yet any sort of discussion of such anomalies in the reporting would earn you an instant ban and blacklisting.
But this is the NDL bread and butter.
