Claiming any of those verbs in your docs will very likely alienate and frustrate the end-user if they get blocked by *anything* and will significantly reduce the chance of them reaching out to help, because the reader assume they are stupid/missing obvious context

As a fellow #mastoadmin I'm curious what made you require manual review for new signups to your server vs open signup.

Is it a limitation from Mastodon about not being able to discover bad actors later, spam/scam profiles that just sign up and fill out profile and link to their "business" or something else entirely? :)
