Inside the VR of our brains, we attempt to create patterns of information that describe the universe outside of our brains.
For example Newton's second law: F = ma. This is a type of knowledge that we can use to describe and predict the outside world.
To the extent that this knowledge actually describes the outside world, then it contains truth.
There is nothing subjective about whether F = ma describes the outside world or "contains truth", however we can never know for sure if it does.
For value, it depends on what is meant by it. I see it often as a type of moral knowledge. Given the knowledge I know, what SHOULD I do?
Should I value skydiving for example.

I've accidentally deleted at least 10 meticulously drafted posts since its implementation.
Can we get l something 2 step like an "are you sure you want to do this?" prompt or make the swipe reveal a red trash button that must be confirmed before the post is deleted?
Thx

Reflecting on Polymarket. I’ve been checking it subconsciously for 6 months or so, and now I’m reflecting on my use. It’s caught on with me, and it could get big.
Crypto betting market attempts have been around from close to the beginning, but what if now is the time?
What if Polymarket gets big, and I mean globally big. Like stock market level big across many countries.
Governments are going to HATE this.
The ability for humans globally to be able to bet on most anything important in their lives, and for everyone to get more accurate probabilities on future events could be a massive tool for advancing truth. Particularly in a world with LLMs.
