To name a few of my favourites:

Move specific files to a different machine

scp -P 22 -r "%f" namme@ip:/home/user/folder/ && rm "%f"

Run OCR job on PDF

xfce4-terminal --command="ocrmypdf --force-ocr %f %f_OCR.pdf"

Increase/Decrease audio volume

xfce4-terminal --command="lame --scale 5 %f %f_5.mp3"

xfce4-terminal --command="lame --scale -5 %f %f_-5.mp3"

Package py to elf

pyinstaller --onefile --name $(basename "%f" | cut -f 1 -d '.' ) %f

Share file via Linx

curl -k -H "Linx-Api-Key: " -T %f https://.com/upload/ | xclip -sel clip && zenity --info --text="File '%f' link generated and ready to paste."

Show file hashes

Thanks, man. I started with XFCE, and so far have not found anything that works better for me.

-Custom panels that can look like any other environment. Plugins support.

-Themes, Workspaces with different backgrounds for each workspace.

-Thunar - Custom actions to run custom scripts based on file type

-Clipman - custom actions based on regex rules

-Keyboard shortcuts to custom scripts

Pros:

Being able to run Android apps with zero tinkering. I toggled one switch and pressed one button and I am running f-Droid. #amethyst works great.

Overall UI looks pleasant. Ability to install an app from any Linux distro and access it via the shortcut in the menu.

Arch based.

Immutable.

Cons:

Partition drive into two volumes root and home didn't work for me.

RAM hungry, 2 GB won't be enough, barely survived with 3 GB.

Not a fan of KDE plasma. Looks pretty, but over the top IMO.

Android only works with gnome and plasma environments.

Will check it again later for sure.

Don't put all your garlic in one basket 🤔

Have you tried this? Testing on a VM, is an exciting concept.
