The first Women of Bitcoin UK meetup has been announced for Wednesday 2nd of October.

It will be taking place in London. 6-8pm

Yeah, I spend a fair amount of time less than 100 yards from the largest naval base in Europe. If it happens there's a fair chance I'm toast, instantaneously evaporated...like you say, I'vengot a boat, sobI have options. If it gets too mad I'll take the boat to the far side of the Isle of Wight and sail from there down to lands end, ensure my daughter knows to head that way and meet me there...

I made it when i was like 15-16

A lot of people don’t know my story about how I got into bitcoin so here it is…

I was a smart kid from sort of a rough background.

Always academically gifted, but never really applied myself.

I had a keen interest in mathematics and really excelled in school but had a hard time staying out of trouble.

I was in and out of juvie during my early adolescence. Nothing serious. Petty stuff underage drinking. Fighting. Resisting arrest etc…

Even though I had a rough home life I always had a close friend group that I could count on.

One of them got me a job as a janitor at a local college.

I was a lowly janitor but I still had my love for mathematics, so I used to sneak around and finish high level equations that people had left on the chalkboard.

One day a professor confronted me as I was writing an equation down. I told him to fuck off and ran away.

Then I got like mandated to do therapy with this old guy who was all wise and shit anyway I forget how the rest of the movie goes…

Then I got into bitcoin!

And that’s my story.

These babies are my favorites.

There's an argument against modern shoes, especially so called "sports" shoes. They have terrible ergonomics that crush your toes, deform your foot arch, and weaken your feet with their unnaturally raised toes and heels and exaggerated padding. Curiously enough, "running shoes" could be especially bad if you actually use them to run, because their allow you to do so in a way that impacts your knees and hips really badly, slamming heel first.

He may be referring to that.

Probably something to do with your mother and/or sex. Yes, I'm a Freudian.

Many smart people get stuck in level 1 and by that they limit their own potential. They turn into the angry guy who's always right but nobody ever listens to them. They lose sight of level 2, thinking that the only important skill is to be smarter than others. Other smart people soon learn to ignore them, because at that level, everybody around you is smart, but some of them are assholes.

It's completely up to you what you become. It's your responsibility, nobody else's.
