I think people who keep on caring about fiat price are the true bitcoin bears as they only want high fiat value so they can sell it for fiat.

Slowly getting things sorted, relay now working with Damus, channel open with LND too, even sorted out all my own Bitwarden vault as self hosted on the start9 (nice to have yet another place to store passwords as a just in case as I literally remember none lol)

Great news, I’ve managed to get it to connect to the local link
I’m not sure why it wasn’t working, I simply uninstalled my relay, reinstalled & it gave me a new relay link - it now shows as connected. 💪
I really hope a dev decides to pick up that bounty to bring Public-Pool to Start9.
It's currently the only thing that I now miss from my Umbrel, as most of the other apps I've been able to setup/install or at least find an alternative.
Self Hosted pool for my #Bitaxe was really cool.
Damus app was literally 1 click though & it was automatic.
Nostrudel did give me a pop up to verify, add a note etc & then I had to click the pay button.
Both worked though, both came out of my LND node.
I'm currently adding Nostrudel (my self hosted desktop client) to NWC too, so I may test out the connection for zaps with you Derek. 🤣
Great! That's what I do too, on Amethyst. I run an LND node with nostr:npub1u8lnhlw5usp3t9vmpz60ejpyt649z33hu82wc2hpv6m5xdqmuxhs46turz's NWC app. It works great for Zapping.
That website I linked allows you to send zaps on individual notes, not just profiles. It's just a simple toggle button. Check it out.

Primal on iOS doesn't allow you to add a NWC node, but it would be nice if you're region locked to not have the wallet icon show up? The Android version allows you to zap from the built-in in wallet or your own with NWC. Damus is a great app though. You should love it. Did you enable Zaps with the external script?

As for Primal, yeah I agree - should be an option just to remove the wallet section completely from the taskbar, removed from the UI or hidden in the pull out settings instead.
I actually hated using Primal purely for this reason, having a feature front & centre that was actually useless to me was a big turn off.
But of course, I’d also like to be able to connect up my LND to Primal too, just like I can with Damus.
My only negative so far with Damus is the fact it won’t accept my nostr relay link, not even the .local version.

No, I simply connected Damus to Nostr wallet connect on my node.
All zaps are now automated & come straight out of my LND without any external payment screens etc.
As for receiving Zaps, I simply just added my Zeus Pay lightning address to my profile
Me too, I tried Primal but that whole Wallet section is front & centre & it’s actually useless. (Region locked)
Why I can’t just add a nostr wallet connect wallet straight to from LND/RTL node I just don’t know.

Just zapped you, wanted to test out my node’s nostr wallet connect - it worked seamlessly.
Straight from my node, no external wallets needed, just a simple click of the zap button & it’s gone. 👊
