Be nice if clients could group notes from the same poster if they're the last 10 notes in your timeline.
Can't help but feel the global timeline is utterly useless
Anytime I've opened it, it's just been complete spam.
Amethyst's convos is dope.
Sadly it doesn't show the gif inline and just tosses it in the bottom.

Taking Plebstr out for a spin.
Early impressions are it's snappy, and I like the look of it so far.
Let's see how it lasts the week.
And it has a gif button

#[0] any memories as to when FollowFriday became a thing initially on Twitter?
Feel like it was always key thing for helping the early twtter-verse grow.
Kick making all the right movew and attracting streamers in a way YouTube just couldn't.
The real issues are going to be the protections that Kick isn't able to provide.
Twitch was just figuring out DMCA and Kick is being sold by some as an untouchable hamsterdam.
But what happens if the notices and law suits start getting send directly to the streamers and not the platform.
Just how willing is Kick to protect those streamers from their own transgressions?
The Twitter "For You" page is barley hanging on at its seams as it is, constantly bugged out.
Needing to pull to update and refresh and have tweets fall in all kinds of disarray.

Affording yourself a life where you have the time, energy and money to make owning an Icon or Epic pass worth it is pretty bless..

... or Elon bought twitter as a bargaining chip to work with governments in exchange for helping further his other more lucrative interests.

Almost entering 1 week since Bhai Amritpal Singh became the most wanted man in India.
While I *hope* he remains "5 β", mocking of the 80k Punjab police force sent after him, I'm of mind he's been since caught, disappeared and we only await news now of the false encounter used to demoralize those siding with him.

Maybe its time for #FF (follow friday)to make a return
Provably fhe best organic recommendations algo.

Spam fighting on here seems like it'll come down to relays being able to spot spam and combat bots.
Eventually relays with the least amount of protection will doom themselves due to amount of resources they're giving up.
How do we combat censorship though? If a user you follow is removed from relays you follow youll need to somehow find that users new relays to resume following them.
Alternatively if each note, also stored what relays it was sent to, then a client could work backwords at using those relays to keep track of that user π€
Lets leave twitter alone for today.
This Amritpal Singh situation and the barrage of bots is unsettling and exhausting.
Straight up civil war over there.
