For bolt12 it's early to tell.. however LN status doesn't seem to me happy enough .. too centralized, everything seems moving on custodial that will be victim of regulations .. cashu could help on LN i think .. it could aid on routing , liquidity and other issues .. but if it will not embrace completely anonymous with tor , i think it will be victim of the same issues that is going to hit LN .. cashu is custodial i know, but running a mint could be as easy as running an own node ..
It works well .. only problem is user adoption .. if clients don't work on onion network it is unreachable .. at now minibits allow this if setted with orbot and cashu.me and nutstash if used under torbrowser .. however using browser wallet under tor browser it is not practical .. so the only easy way is minibits
Great they was took and pulled out by LN receipt! This is one of the mitigated fear about mints .. if you are able to get cashu token .. you are able to redim they out by LN !
So cashu is one of the best wonderful things regarding bitcoin ... it gives privacy on cusodian wallet .. however it needs privacy too from client and server .. are you able to use it complety on onion network ?

Don't fully understood how it work ... is it like this? Alice want to send the token to Carol that it is with mint Bob . Alice cashu wallet sends the token via nostr to Carol nostr pubkey. Carol cashu wallet redim Alice token by accessing Carol nostr privatekey. Carol wallet can now sign token as its own. But at this point doesn't Carol wallet need to access directly to Bob mint using its mint address (ip clearnet or onion address)? Isn't the wallet that known his own nostr key?

The only good news I have for you here is that the law currently targets "service providers", not "software developers" or "end users" (directly). Developers who also run a service, or get income from service providers will be affected indirectly.
The tactic being used here by the lawmakers is to starve developers of funds so they have to stop working on open source projects and get a so-called "real job". Well I was not using nostr .. Anyway it is the same , also if you use tor client if you interact with another mint that it is on clearnrt and don't understand onionaddress , you will have problems ... I don't understood why onion and tor wasn't assumed as base .. LN was assumed to work with tor since the beginning .. So people could choose .. Here it seems that very few wallets and mints work on tor

Not working no more at all I think ... It seems that new version works on raspberry and amd64 only ... The rest of the world using for example Ubuntu on arm like odroid or orangepi should abandon umbrel for other solutions ..
