Also I assume nip implies that relay should store the file as-is. Especially for video this is not ideal. A transcoding on the relay would be more beneficial for non-encrypted media so that clients can play it without issues.

damus always felt slow to me… I just realized I’ve been using non-optimized debug builds for about a year. damus is much faster than I realized 🤦‍♂️

I don’t use my email much anymore since it’s all spam, but one simple fix could be sending an email back and making them solve a captcha before it is delivered to your inbox 😆

Thinking damus should show a #zap “charge level” which is your remaining balance in zaps with some target amount, perhaps your all-time high? This would give you a good idea if you’re zapping too much and when you should chill.
