The whole point of Bitcoin really is to be your own bank and to cut them and the government out. And that is why they don’t like it and also why they will do everything in their playbooks to try and control/stifle/tax it. Don’t let them.

We lose if we have to go to a bank to ask permission for our bitcoin. Then Bitcoin becomes like our current system where banks have the power.

“And then they join you” phase in America right now. Except them joining us is them trying to convince us that we need them to custody our coins.

We have a permissionless money and people are fine with giving that up. I am not. We can be rich and keep our wealth through our descendants if we HOLD OUR OWN KEYS.
