One interesting consequence of nostr:npub1yy9wdef5us8af5q3zl3fs5usndygl3wge7xj5qkk5mtq2g4swwhs9ls23g's implementation is that it minimizes the traceability of group messages and direct messages among CCN members even beyond what NIP-17 achieves. If you send and receive DMs to the members of the CCN, nobody will be the wiser.
From the perspective of users outside the CCN, the various message types are indistinguishable, as they all appear as direct messages sent to the CCN. This enhances the privacy of CCN members by obscuring the nature of their communications.
That's right, because privacy is a human right.
What are you thankful for this year, nostriches?
