If they decided to bot attack every post and comment with 2k+ bots to make Nostr unusable for most folks indefinitely… how would the clients handle that?

I’m not bragging just giving one experience.

There was a period in time for me where I gained 150k followers (probably 35k+ of those were bots) on Twitter within a few days and I believe I had well over 100k followers when this happened so my profile was very busy and loud. It wasn’t fun. Even mass amounts of positive feedback and love felt overwhelming.

My followers + likes + comments made it impossible to see anything of substance. I made my profile so that I could only see engagement from those who I follow and it made it really enjoyable, usable and fun. nostr:note194036254szu9zm8edqyqvxxsr66jhhutw5x568rkepj337jt2ddqgsdfmv

I totally respect this position.

How many npubs a day would you be willing to mute? I’m just asking would you be willing to spend an hour a day or more muting bots and illegal content? Just curious.

My mind does sort of naturally go to folks in different situations that might need to be heard who can’t afford to speak and be seen. Unfortunately, their voices would get lost.
