"Of course it's true, it came to me in a dream."

In the context of OpenAI's recent announcement:

The hypercapitalist future is only just beginning.

The cyberpunk futures famously dreamt up – Altered Carbon, 2077, Blade Runner – approach. The corporations listed here will run a fraction, media will have its fraction, commerce its fraction. The corporations remain stratified for now, there is still enough power in the federal government to possibly antitrust their dreams away. When Oracle, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Nvidia control the back-end of society in unity; with Meta and an enslaved TikTok exerting front-end domination; Amazon, Apple, Google running the commerce, advertising, and the social AI world; and the three large equity players like Blackrock and Fidelity and Vanguard controlling where the fiat-dollar goes and what it's worth; we may see consolidation yet.

Fear not, they already function as one. That they will set their eyes on a stronger currency of control is inevitable. We are approaching a very boring, quiet dystopia. Medicine will be fully commercialized. The arts will be brutalized. Human wit will be written out. A dajjalic future wherein it is physically real but reality is just a subversion of truth at every turn. It won't be so colorful and technological as some dream. They dreamt in the 20th century of flying cars and living on the moon. We dream now of cybernetic arms and exporting computerized consciousness to husks. It will be boring and gray. Gray with an A, not an E, on a global level.

The children will have genius level understanding of technology but not a clue in the world of true knowledge. More than ever your born class will dictate your future. People will willfully abdicate their power, even perhaps their weaponry, for a future promising security and greatness. And it will all be boring. Don't dream of Arisaka Tower, don't dream of never-ending life as a digital conscious. It will be today, just more enslaved, people lonely and hoping for an artificial spouse who can fix that. Nothing will change but it will all look different.

There is no preventing this, no running from it. Either the end times come first or we will live to taste the beginnings and our children and their children will be born into a lived reality. Islam, then, is fortitude. Protection against the Gray. Navigation in a changing world, just as the world changed before. We must adapt to it. Find a SAIF watering hole, or be assimilated.

I guess the summary here is that the Muslims must dive so far into the future that we end up at least AS ahead as the rest of the world, or at least those designing the new world order.

Just as Meta, Nvidia, OpenAI, Microsoft (and the real leadership behind all these companies paving forward for the common man) will leap into the abyss, putting up lampposts to guide the early adopters in their road building by which the masses will migrate, so too must we.

Ideally this is led by scholarship, but they seem too tied down by Old Islamicate Rules to take forth such a leap: missing are those who learn the logic of the Greeks to destroy them, allowing the masses to follow suit without even knowing it was happening to them. It seems fitting then that some individuals will take the burden on themselves, forcing along the scholars as early adopters instead of lamppost-erectors.

What remains for us now is to adopt, even though we may understand little, even though our ability may be limited. Adopt the new world order, adopt its currencies and its cyber-space, foraying as a digital nomad in a numerical dessert guided only by God, with His Messenger ﷺ as the guiding light by which we model our lampposts. Accelerating always.

Some day I'll understand specifically what "u(zla)/acc" means

Would be cool if I could connect blockstream green as my main wallet to my Nostr stuff. Maybe one day? Or maybe it can't work I honestly don't understand any of this stuff well.

On that note, is Blue Wallet a better choice? I remember hearing that there was some reason not to go with Blue Wallet and I chose Green instead. Suggestions?

Also if I do want to change is there a way to migrate my btc from one wallet to another? Ideally without fees

Every few weeks I try to explore something new in this tech infested world and it always ends up being far more complicated than it should be for an end user. Bitcoin, KYC, nodes, Bisq, wallets, lightning, relays, Nostr, key management, etc. Tons of reading and time invested. It just needs to be simpler. I get the complexity is what makes it secure and anonymous but it will NEVER achieve widespread adoption in its current form.

I've spent the better part of two days trying to actually understand how any of this works or why, and how to best manage my account security and keys and everything. The BTC wallet I normally use isn't compatible with Nostr I guess so I had to create a new wallet with Alby just to be able to send/receive on here. That's its own hassle. And then Primal lets you send but only using THEIR wallet (in app) which is annoying. But the other Nostr iOS apps are bad (Damus seems good but primitive).

All in all I hope that this whole side of tech, the actual future side, manages to simplify its process to the end user. As it stands you won't convince people to abandon anything this way. The moment they left behind a simple email and password they're going to want out. So a straightforward replacement must exist (private key login is good! But then there is the issue of key security and needing extensions to hold them instead of the individual sites).

Simplicity is key.

So can I use the same public key for multiple @nostr.com accounts?
