In my opinion, paid relays are gate keepers, if you are advocating them, you are not understanding what this tech is about, go to twitter.

Clearly, few greedy elements of the community plus few bad apples will try to monetize big on the protocol instead to push for decentralization and user control, in my opinion, they are the enemy within

Finding people that post good content is not an easy task, most known figures and "influencers" post mainly non sense or uninteresting information most of the time, yet, they have many followers due to the fact that "they are known"

Nostr is a fresh start, I follow few of those so called "influencers",butt I keep cutting them down to the ones that add value , I take some time every day as well looking for those key people out there, intelligent, critical thinkers that add value to my day to day and follow them

Interesting, although, Wouldn't that make your comments an agreeably group of followers removing the ones that disagree and question your posts critically?

IMO it will require the discipline of a bot, removing your subjectivity completely is not humanly possible

Perhaps you will achieve it, will interesting to watch how it evolves

Avoid censorship and profiling, use public relays and use your own, if you are running a node and you have LN channels configured, for sure you are savvy enough to run your own relay and add any filters you want

And after that, if you keep using 18 relays you will not notice any difference, you need to delete all the relays and use only the ones you configured yourself
