Ive been following the Rock Paper Bitcoin podcast put on by Business Cat and Fundamentals, and recently, Business Cat's family grew by one with the birth of his son. Yesterday I made the trip to the Central PA Bitcoin Meetup and he was there with his family. It was a worthwhile experience chatting a bit with different people in the group and seeing the youth that will hopefully be following in our footsteps and helping build the new free world.
I agree. Use of `the` implies that theres only one Nostr, and in reality there is an unknown quantity. If we switch to `thy Nostr` it may be a bit too possessive. Perhaps `a Nostr` is more appropriate?

I agree. If too many people using it, or it being "too decentralized" breaks the network, then I giess the network better change and adapt. Because complaining and telling people they can't do that doesn't work in a permissionless system.

Thats the expected behavior for recipients using Zeuspay. To avoid fees like that you could run your own node and webserver, or opt for common custodial solutions. Always tradeoffs.

Getting your own events is straightforward and mostly a series of paginated calls. Depending on relay, may also need to AUTH.
Getting context of events you replied to, and those replying to you is a Big-O type problem requiring additional queries for each event pulled back in the initial set. Doable, but a higher cost is appropriate, and for best performance and reduced network consumption should be offered as a service by the relay operator
