Since bitcoins inception, it's been freedom money. Money for the people. Separation of money and state.
More importantly, it's been about low time preference. Forgoing instant gratification for gains in the future.
Now that we have the U.S government flirting with buying, it's actually pissing me off. Bitcoiners are so desperate for their bags to get pumped they're forgetting why we are here in the first place. Pleading the government to buy Bitcoin instead of XRP, TrumpCoin, etc. It's embarrassing.
Fuck them. I hope governments don't buy it for another twenty years. Trump doesn't get it. Putin doesn't get it. Apple and Warren Buffet don't get it. And we can continue to front run these bastards if we get back to the original mission.
