chat sometimes I'm like *having a day* and say shit then a few hours later I'm like wow I really did put that one out there didn't I, and it's low key a bit embarrassing cause what if idk my future husband is watching that go down and what if he changes his mind

So I was at the gym, and there was this woman. A senior citizen, old as shit. And she was fit. No kyphosis. (Hunchback)

I’m starting to notice people half her age and below looking hunched. Prob from phones—folks will say. Also probably from straight up sedentary jobs. Face it, that’s most of us. We sit to work. Lots of screens. Not enough activity. Recreation can be pretty sedentary too—Netflix, gaming, screens, etc.

But there was this old lady, rocking it at the gym. No hunched over posture, strong balance. Good posture. Hitting the weight machines.

My new role model. I wanna be old as shit and still active. I didn’t see this from my grandparents. My mom died young.

People may work out to look a certain way or identify as whatever the trendy diet/workout thing is. I hit the gym to listen to music and clear my head, also to do something other than yoga.

Spoiler alert: yoga 🧘‍♀️ isn’t enough, but that’s another post.

But I think we forget the lowest time preference lesson of all. We work out to stay well, fit, mobile, to have strength and range of motion as we age.

Now, I’ll be working out so I don’t become a hunchback old lady. Girlfriend has prob been lifting weight and staving off osteoporosis for years. I’m stone cold impressed. And now i have a new goal.

i'm low key a bit excited about imminently having three outbound paths in my personal VPN network. one in ljubljana, one in miami, and one in belgrade. i will make them all equal priority routes so that they will tend to get rotated randomly

and then, once i complete the task of building out the personal relay routing service, my traffic will be mixed with their traffic. it will be a combination VPN and personal inbox relay service. they will also have their web traffic routed the same way as me. i may have to rethink the $2/month fee, if i bundle in that they also get a three node VPN for their connections because, well... probably i will have to upgrade the traffic on my VPSs to accommodate the number of users traffic, video especially is pretty heavy. i managed to burn 1tb one time in a month on my VPS/VPN so i figure i probably have to allow for about 250gb of traffic per user, with 3tb in the base setup, that works out to a capacity of 6 users on par with my usage, so probably i will need to bump that to like 5tb/node and then i can have like 20 clients, and should be able to manage to still make a smal margin at the end of it even at $5/month

the bonus will be that those 20 customers traffic will be mingled with mine which is a pretty solid, low budget traffic mixing situation. maybe later on i expand to 5 or 10 edge routers on the mesh and i have like 100 clients and my cost will be about $100 a month and my income from it will be about $400. not bad way to create both anonymity and help nostr be more decentralised at the same time. pays half my rent, effectively.
