Yes. A decade ago, in my mid-30s. I decluttered like crazy, and other than some hobby items - hiking, golf, cooking - have stayed on it.

Even wore off on my kids…….well, until my daughter turned 14, but I’m assured they are all hoarders, lol

I could spend long hours in there…..especially if there is an unseen fireplace

Yeah, my fortress ‘legacy’ account withdrawal has been at pending for 48 hours. I think my DCA will be joining my 3.80% btc on fiat at River before months end.

First run with the electric pressure canner. Gallon of homemade chicken stock. Very simple. I can see using this a lot going forward.

I agree…….and also think that is the explanation, in part.

Most people are used to things being complicated, and needing experts. Especially (by design) financial things.

Free-minded ridk takers aren’t a huge percentage of the population.

Absolute rubbish article. Here is the quote that sums it up……

“Inheritance tax springs from the universally held belief that society has the right to share when wealth is transferred on death as a matter of justice. This is not confiscation, especially if the lion’s share of the bequest is left intact. It is asking for a share.”

GM. So I have a my two kids, plus nieces and nephews all in their teens, right now. I’m thinking of gifting them all some bitcoin when they turn 18 and/or graduate HS.

Any thoughts on how? Just set them up a wallet, like Exodus, transfer, and give them the keys, or are there better methods out there that are more tailored to this?

My sister, BIL, and ex-wife all run the range from ‘whats bitcoin’ to ‘your father might be a drug dealer’, so not fertile ground. My son does have BITB in his Roth, though, as a requirement for his ‘dad match’.
