testing reply

Sure, say I’m a client and I want to show a users profile and they have completely different profiles on each relay which do I show? Say that I have an update profile section on my client, should I explicitly inform the user which relays they are sending their updated profile info to?

Should a user profile be expected to be the same across all relays?

What is the best way to handle showing a user notifications? Since I can't really mark a post as read. Should I just get all events mentioning the user over the past week or so and mark them read in some cache?

If anyone is interested I have a NIP out for bounties on nostr here: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/865

It's funny you caught that. I was playing around with ideas and I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with an existing event type or create a new application event type. The reaction event was the simplest event type I could think of at the time.

thanks, the zap should have gone through, I need to improve the polling for the receipt tho.

test discussion

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm working on the site here: https://resolvr-io.vercel.app/ you can login with a browser extension and create a bounty right now (keep in mind the site is still in progress and some things may not work). The note I posted here is just a test for when the site is live.

Check out my bounty at resolvr.io: nostr:naddr1qqdhgetnwskhw6t5dqkhgct8wvkn2cm9vv6kvv35v56kyccpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfdupzqgs9ytpvx2em72gqdvn4ugjt9pwkfwce77da4yrfjx7t8ps7rr95qvzqqqr4vgp5v37x

I'm trying out some relay management UX for a couple apps I'm working on and I'd like some feedback.

I have implemented it on the following sites:

https://neotweet.com/

https://notebin-five.vercel.app/

These sites are not feature complete yet, but the relay management is mostly worked out (you can only read from one relay at a time right now but that can be easily changed). My thinking was that I didn't want to hide the relays in the settings, but I also didn't want them to junk up the main app/site page since I prefer a more minimal look. Another benefit is that you can easily change your page content or update the relays you want to post to not matter where you are in the app or what type of content you're reading or planning to post.
