Oh. I only provided a bounty and developers made it possible. I do find muting useful to safeguard attention for things that matter or just don’t waste my time and I think many others would agree. It’s not just for myself 🙃
given the amount of shit out there WoT would be a better solution? nostr is small so muting might be ok
Yeah that could be good too. No reason we can’t have multiple mechanisms for most flexibility.
They serve a different purpose, WoT is useful against spam and bots, and mute can be useful if you are not interested in a topic. For example with a WoT you no longer see spam, but you could still want to mute “etf” if you are not interested in that.

I'm trying out some relay management UX for a couple apps I'm working on and I'd like some feedback.
I have implemented it on the following sites:

These sites are not feature complete yet, but the relay management is mostly worked out (you can only read from one relay at a time right now but that can be easily changed). My thinking was that I didn't want to hide the relays in the settings, but I also didn't want them to junk up the main app/site page since I prefer a more minimal look. Another benefit is that you can easily change your page content or update the relays you want to post to not matter where you are in the app or what type of content you're reading or planning to post.

Yes I would love some help! I'm working with a nonprofit on developing an app which could bring hundreds of thousands of their users to nostr. It's quite a unique concept which helps align volunteers with people in need and vice versa. It will be fundamentally social and also a marketplace.
