Responding to this because last night I started watching “Firefly” again, and was shocked how much I resonated with Kaylee-actress Jewel Staite. She seemed genuinely awkward, and it made her magnetic this time around.

This is Nation-State adoption front-running. imo.

Anyone on iPad know a Nostr app that seamlessly allows Zaps yet?
I’ve been here for more than 2 years and still can’t Zap.
I don’t want a multi-party workaround. I want a single client I can plug any lightning wallet into and zap away.
Not to nag, just wondering if I’ve missed anything yet.

Rumble has been the only serious solution for all other Youtube-exiles.
Personally I favor (& subscribe) to Rumble for everything that isn’t youtube-only. It’s a solid, growing community there…but has maybe 10% to 20% of viewers, depending on the channel.
When I was young I thought Life was a thing.
And as I grew older the thing became complicated.
So I concentrated, incorporated, coordinated, consolidated, orchestrated and

This is a pivotal story, imo, pre-dating Ross Ulbricht and the Samorai Wallet devs, about how the Deep State/US Gov’t has been targeting and building an “off the books” case against Bitcoin. This fascinating interview (skip about 20mins in to get to the meat) outlines the early steps in the (then) soft-war to build a straw-man legal basis for extra-legal activities.
Arrest first, compile a case after. This first tactic was to freeze-out independent developers of the burgeoning Bitcoin ecosystem, and create a controlled firewall around it that only “officially approved” developers can interact with it.
They didn’t recognize Bitcoin for the threat it was to them, now they’re treating Bitcoin like they treated every errant country in the World…the standard CIA playbook.
The secondary tactic btw is “taxation”, esp unrealized gains taxes on Bitcoin. The goal now is to force all us Plebs who front-ran, to sell it to them for freely-printed Fiat paper money. They won’t come to our houses, they’ll send us a bill. And if you didn’t buy on exchange, you’ll be sent to IRS court for an interview.
The Deep State doesn’t hate Bitcoin. They WANT the Bitcoin.
Which means they have to get it from us.
The War against Bitcoin has not even begun. They will turn us all into Saylors.
This is the Tea Party the gun-toting Libertarians never had the huevos to take on.

I have to say what’s fun and funny is watching Wall St simps learn that Bitcoin is actually super-fucking boring.
I’ve straddle both “streets”, I’ve been there. I’m fully in the maxi camp trying to keep things interesting, and will continue to do so…
…but the swirling drain of truly Sound Money will inevitably become very uninteresting to talk about for Men and Women who don’t have anything else going on in their lives.
When productivity and resources become slowly cheaper and cheaper, what becomes valuable is human ingenuity, competence, and happiness.
