ㅁㄹㅍㅂ에서 홍길동으로 이름을 변경했습니다. ㅁㄹㅍㅂ는 스타크래프트의 질럿이 말하는 "마이 라이프 포 아이어"라는 대사에서 유래했습니다. 그냥 밈이지만, 이 공간에 헌신적인 분들이 많아서 사용하기에 조금 부끄러운 느낌이 듭니다.
실명을 쓰고 싶지는 않았습니다. 익명으로 남고 싶었습니다. 어떤 이름이 좋을까 고민을 많이 했습니다. 그러다 '홍길동'이라는 이름이 떠올랐습니다. 길동홍은 평범한 사람들을 돕는 한국의 전통 슈퍼히어로로, 그저 평범한 익명의 한국 이름으로 사용됩니다.
이 이름이 마음에 듭니다. 비트코인 창시자의 이름과 '우리 모두가 사토시다'라는 의미를 떠올리게 합니다. 조만간 프로필 사진을 변경할 예정이니 헷갈리지 마세요🤙
I changed my name from MyLifeForB to Gildong.Hong. MyLifeForB is originated from the lines "My life for Aiur" which is spoken by Zealot of Starcraft. It is just meme, but I feel little bit embarrassed to use it because there are many dedicated people in this space.
I didn't want to use my real name, I wanted to remain anonymous, so I thought a lot about what would be a good name, and then I came up with "Gildong Hong." Gildong Hong is a korean traditional super hero who helps plebs and the name is used as just ordinary, anonymous Korean name.
I like this name because it reminds me that the name of creator of Bitcoin and the meaning of "We are all Satoshi". I'll change my profile pic in some days, so don't be confused🤙
