Hmm, do you host your sites on IPs / subnets which are also used by spammers or malware sites? IMO it is unlikely that they flag you manually already. I worked in SEO for15 years and had some experience with that.
About the Ai: What will be really scary is that kids which grow up with Ai will have a lifetime companion whom they talk with every day, knows everything about them and who tells them how the world works.
It is the perfect tool for population control and brainwashing them from a early age.
"Sure kiddo, it is not a experimental gene therapy, you must get your weekly shot else grandma dies and apart from that, i rat you out to the Feds for your own protection..."
Bitcoin fails on all promises from the early days, sadly.
- it is not decentralized, 12 mining pools have control
= it is not usable as p2p currency
- lightning is moving most users into custodial wallets
= not your keys and not your coins
- 1mb blocks are a joke, we have 2024 and a 12tb hdd costs $120
- fully transparent with zero privacy
- mints and etf's will dilute the 21m cap
Asic resistance is one of the key arguments for Monero .
Also mining by botnets creates a truly decentralized infrastructure. Botnet miners will not bend their knee to a tyrannical government.
Apart from that it is censorship resistant, has adaptable block size and fees are low. You can use it as a p2p currency.
The longer i think about it, the more it is clear to me:
Monero is the real Bitcoin and represents everything why i went into Bitcoin in the first place.
Most people will only understand its value when the government mandates to connect your digital ID to your BTC transactions.
the token you can invest in against that is called Monero.
angry wifey no bueno
This is bullish for #nostr! I wish it had a token that I can invest in.
#DigitalID #KYC

Next: [insert country] approves mandatory digital ID for bitcoin transactions.
come on, i am heavily investing in Monero.
Larry Fink pump my bags!
I love private rugging, this is so intimate.
This is how we win!
so it is private, depending on the goodwill and honesty of the mint, which might be a honeypot, or rug pulling. Trust third parties, don't verify seems to be the new future of finance.
i do not understand this generation of bitcoiners anymore, maybe they got one vaccination too many...
it is like telling me that if i want to avoid the bank transfer fees, i can put the money into an envelope and send it by snail mail or bring it myself to the receiver.
How much effort am i willing to put into small payments? Not a lot. And i have a good technical education. How does one sell the advantages of using lightning to a normie when there are none?
I just use a card or a paper bill. Having to run your own node to spend small amounts is just the future of retardation, not the future of finance. IMO.
Hodl Hodl Blocks US Users from Accessing Its Lending Platform

This must be this decentralized finance everybody is so excited about.

The future of finance is here! Much wow.

also, can't the mint just log which token they issued and the users ip address? for example a mint run by the feds as a honeypot?
lets say you buy something ( completely legal of course ) on the darknet, the seller need to immediately go to the mint and redeem it for lightning satoshis in that case?
What use case do you see for money which you can only hold for 60 seconds? Hot potato contest?
Xapo Bank Enables Bitcoin Deposits via the Lightning Network
Gibraltar-regulated Xapo Bank has enabled Bitcoin deposits for its customers via the Lightning Network building on its partnership with Lightspark.

What fees do others get when they want to load their Xapo account with Lightning?

These are the fees on the Lightning Network when you send to a less often used wallet, in this case Xapo. The black screenshot is Phoenix wallet, the grey one is Bitcoin Jungle. Bitcoin Jungle fees are in Costa Rican Colones, its about 50 USD cents. Maybe nostr:npub14f26g7dddy6dpltc70da3pg4e5w2p4apzzqjuugnsr2ema6e3y6s2xv7lu or nostr:npub148qm45zettnf6ekgkatnyfadunxwjpu8sy88mjdsgwc5f202d93qmejra7 can say something about it?

Just for comparison: If you send EUR with your credit card to wise.com it costs you 48 cent for a 100 EUR transaction and it is instant.
