✅ Verdict: They work…

🥛✨ First Batch of Homemade Yogurt!

We finally made our own yogurt at home, and it was way easier than we thought! Using just milk and a bit of store-bought yogurt with live cultures, we whipped up a full 4L batch—and it turned out so creamy and good.

Here’s how we did it:

1️⃣ Heat 4L of whole milk to about 180°F (just below boiling)

2️⃣ Cool it down to around 110°F

3️⃣ Stir in 4–6 tablespoons of plain yogurt with active cultures

4️⃣ Pour it into jars, cover, and keep warm for 6–12 hours (we used the oven with the light on!)

5️⃣ Chill in the fridge, and boom—homemade yogurt!

We’ll definitely be making more (and trying some fun flavors next time). Anyone else into fermenting or homestead-style recipes?

Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Pizza Twists!

Because your side dish deserves to be the main character.

✅ Crispy bacon

✅ Melty cheese

✅ Roasted asparagus

✅ Golden, garlicky pizza dough

Perfect for snacks, sides, or impressing guests without breaking a sweat. My kids loved them. I may have eaten more than they did.

🛒 Ingredients (makes ~8):

• 8 asparagus spears (trimmed)

• 8 slices of bacon

• Pizza dough (rolled into 9”x12”)

• ¼–½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozza, parm—your choice)

• Olive oil or melted butter

• Garlic powder, black pepper, optional chili flakes

• Optional: egg wash for shine

👨‍🍳 How to Make ’Em:

1️⃣ Trim asparagus (blanch 1 min if thick)

2️⃣ Roll out dough & cut into strips

3️⃣ Sprinkle cheese on dough strip

4️⃣ Roll asparagus diagonally in dough

5️⃣ Wrap bacon around in opposite direction (yes, it’s a criss-cross of glory)

6️⃣ Brush with oil/butter + season

7️⃣ Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 mins (broil 1–2 mins at end if needed)

✨ Serve with ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara. Bonus points if you dip AND twirl.
