Made a Twitter account Jan 1 this year waited to clear the 90 days to get twitter blue so basically just started an account and have like 2 spam followers so I feel you there.
Yes nostr is the future and obviously I enjoy it more than twitter - still think Twitter is important for the time being and don’t mind supporting Elon for doing the things he’s doing.
