Hey Siri, why are American kids so sick? Aaron Siri on DarkHorse

This is a really great conversation. Darkhorse has been my go to resource for most things related to health science since Covid.
They approach discussing vaccine technologies better than anyone else that I've heard.
Spurs stop OKC | Thinking Basketball
Basically, Wemby camps out on defense around the free throw line, which takes away SGA's favorite shot and the Thunder haven't found a consistent answer for it. Caruso ends up with as many wide open 3's as he wants and hasn't been able to punish them.
I don't think Giannis or AD would specifically help with this. They might need a dangerous 3-and-D guy instead, like Trey Murphy or even Kawhi (if Kawhi's contract makes sense for them and he's willing to fit in).

Final NFL Cross Off
It all comes down to this (and whether the Bucs get in).
Who will lose the Ravens vs Steelers games?
How Big Business Helped Build Leviathan
https://mises.org/mises-wire/how-big-business-helped-build-leviathan
By George Ford Smith
> Most academic historians claim that big businesses in the US were economy-choking monopolies at the end of the 19th century, and that government was needed to enforce competition. In reality, the government and businesses joined forces to promote monopolies.
I don’t see any on your track there but there’s a type of piece that forms a perpendicular junction with turns in both directions.
My daughter calls them “underwear pieces” due to their distinctive shape.
Do you know if those woods are private, municipal, county, state, or federal property?
It’s still squatting on public land (although it shouldn’t be) and the states have historically had goons burn squatters out before they establish homestead rights.
Why Congress Is Seriously Investigating UFOs
> Recent observations of exoplanet K2-18b have revealed compelling evidence for potential life beyond Earth. This discovery raises profound questions: Are there intelligent beings elsewhere in the cosmos? Could they have already visited our planet? In this video, we’re digging into the evidence, examining UFO (or UAP) sightings and investigating whether the Pentagon is concealing evidence from the public.
I thought this was a pretty good breakdown from an openminded mainstream channel.
I’ve been taking a bit of tech detox but glad to be back and this is the first pod I jumped on. Missed you guys!
Thanks Jer! Glad to have you back
I'm not entirely sure that those profits are correct. I think it might actually be the final payouts when a market closes.
Trump’s Tariffs Run the Whiskey River Dry

The Continental Bait-and-Switch
https://mises.org/mises-wire/continental-bait-and-switch
By Joshua Mawhorter
> The Continentals and other paper monies only temporarily retained some value largely because of an initial promise of future redemption in gold and silver—a monetary “bait-and-switch.”
TGIF: "Due Process" under Anarcho-Capitalism | The Libertarian Institute
https://libertarianinstitute.org/articles/tgif-due-process/
> Libertarian advocates of minimal government, such as the late Robert Nozick (Anarchy, State, and Utopia, 1974), have feared that individuals in a stateless libertarian society would face corrupt or careless protection firms that used “risky” rights-enforcement procedures to determine guilt or liability. Innocent people might be held responsible for offenses they did not commit, while guilty individuals avoid paying restitution to their victims. Obviously, that would be undesirable.
> Without a minimal monopoly state to prohibit such abuse and protect “procedural rights,” how could innocent people pursue their happiness securely? Nozick speculated that in an anarcho-capitalist society, a protection agency using reliable procedures would emerge as dominant, preempt risky competitors (while compensating them for putting them out of business), and eventually become a monopoly minimal government. All this would happen through a nonaggressive invisible-hand process. Nozick’s innovative theory drew critiques from the biggest names in the libertarian anarchist world, especially Murray Rothbard, Roy A. Childs Jr., and Randy Barnett. (See the Journal of Libertarian Studies 1, No. 1, Winter 1977).
Stacker Sports Pod • Episode 64: NFL Home Stretch and NBA Player Power Rankings
https://www.fountain.fm/episode/PfguJyT90JIPG0MD689o
I love all-time player rankings. Where do you all think King Henry or CMC rank amongst the great RBs?
Where does Jokic rank amongst the best basketball players?
It's the first thing I check, too
Every NFL Team’s WORST Mistake! (Last Five Years)
I'm very curious how he'll narrow it down for some of us. I'll be taking notes as I watch, so I can share some select franchises' mistakes.

**Texans**: Trading Hopkins for a 2nd rounder

**Rams**: WR Allen Robinson (not much to choose from)
**Vikings**: Entire '22 draft
**Giants**: Danny Dimes contract extension
**Jets**: Drafting Zach Wilson
**49ers**: Trading three 1st round picks for Trey Lance
Trump Ignores Sound Economics at His Peril - And Ours
https://mises.org/mises-wire/trump-ignores-sound-economics-his-peril-and-ours

> Like his predecessor, President Trump unsuccessfully tries to convince Americans that their economic pain isn’t real, but Americans know the difference.
The NBA is letting offenses do whatever they want
From Thinking Basketball
> Why are offenses more efficient than ever? This video is about the 2026 NBA officiating style, and how offenses are pushing the boundaries of the rules further than ever, handicapping defenses in the process. Is a balance between offensive and defensive rules even important?
Ben continues doing the lord's work documenting the disgusting state of modern officiating. More than any of the previous videos, this one hits on my main pet-peeves. I still can't, for the life of me, understand why this garbage is allowed. Everyone seems to hate it and it's extremely obvious.
Why Are Houses So Expensive? It's Deliberate Government Policy
https://mises.org/mises-wire/why-are-houses-so-expensive-its-deliberate-government-policy
By Ryan McMaken
> High prices are not the “unintended consequence” of good intentions.

I wonder if homeowners will get rugged once Boomers have less political power than the Zoomers. I'm guessing not, because localities also count on high property values for tax revenue, so the pressure will always be upwards.
Penultimate NFL Cross Off

Tribalism is just one form of collectivism. The point is that if you need to look to the accomplishments of strangers to feel pride, then you must be a loser individually.
Skin color based pride is barbaric and taints an otherwise beautiful human experience (when earned).
Collectivism is for losers
"After" is such a cheap rhetorical trick.
You may have read "because" and the author may have thought "because", but the author didn't say "because".
It's perfectly fine to both not know what happened and not believe the state's narrative. In fact, that's usually the only reasonable position to take.
⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Bari Weiss says something needs to be done about social media in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder, claiming widespread distrust of the government’s shooter narrative is causing what she calls “brain rot.”
She points to online theories claiming Erika Kirk was Charlie Kirk’s Mossad handler, that he was killed by a foreign government, or that her rings signal the Illuminati.
She says social media is allowing these ideas to spread which is dangerous to her democracy.

What's the alt-coin it runs on?
Also, it's in beta. The developers have discussed their future plans, which involve the things you're talking about.
This is actually the silver lining of Trump: He says the quiet ugly parts out loud and quite proudly.
He makes it painfully obvious what this system is.
