One of the curiosities of Bitcoin is that it makes saving addictive. Somehow Satoshi took something that was traditionally boring and sensible and gamified it to feel radical and exhilarating.

Traditionally, people plow some of their hard earned money into retirement accounts accounts typically investing in something like an S&P500 index fund. This is to protect against inflation. And itās worked, to a point. It means that hopefully you reach a point where you can quit work and live off your āsavingsā
But Bitcoin does it better. Itās designed precisely to store value over time. Since it will appreciate faster than anything else, it brings forward to day when you donāt need to work for money anymore.
Thereās only one thing more valuable than Bitcoin and thatās time. But Bitcoin allows you to buy time. Thatās pretty powerful.
