各種のベンチマークで、o1以上のスコアを上げているのは素晴らしい。しかもオープンソース！

DeepSeekは、浙江大学（Zhejiang University）を卒業したエンジニアたちで、AIの力を使って株の取引をして利鞘を稼ぐことを目指して作られたHigh-Flyerの子会社です。

High-Flyerは、2021年にNvidia A100 GPUを1万台並べてAIで株の取引を目指していたけれど、どうやら失敗したもようで、DeepSeekはその資産を使い回しているのかな。

白地の表紙に掲載された話だけでなく、帯に寄せられた推薦文、巻末の広告文まで百文字まで百文字。

良くできてる。ただ、これがSFかというと疑問。昔読んだ阿刀田高の短編を極限まで短くしたような印象。

This lecturer has what seems to be a verbal tic—they keep throwing in ‘desu ne’ (kind of like ‘you know’ or ‘right?') all the time. I counted, and they say it about 18 times a minute on average. With a 5-hour lecture, that adds up to nearly 5,000 ‘desu ne’s in a day. It’s driving me crazy.

今年年賀状で「年賀状仕舞い」の挨拶を結構いただき気になったので、年賀はがきの発行枚数の推移を調べてみました。

2025年度は前年度25%減で民営化以来最低の発行部数だったようです。

更に、元旦の年賀郵便物の配達数は4億9000万通で前年度比34%減だそうです。

日本郵便としてはまとめて配達でき多くの人が送る年賀状なんて稼ぎ時だろうに、やる気はないのか？

信書便事業から民間を占め出して35%もの値上げを行い、稼ぎ時の商品の出荷数を減らして実態としても値上げ分ビジネスを縮小させるなんて、なんて阿呆な経営なんだろう。
