Just imagine the awkward when Apple finally creates account on Nostr. Don’t forget to greet them with your kindest words. 🤙

All sats are equal, but some sats are more equal than others: non-KYC coins 🤪
I feel assaulted when interacting with AI without my consent.
I never say I am against nuclear. I just states a fact based on my understanding. Turn a blind eye to drawbacks is not the way. Know the in and outs before convincing people is due diligence. 🤙
Thanks for this brief. I agree less waste is better than more waste. But looks like the method of dealing waste has not changed. The narrative of comparing with football field is interesting, I would question how they determined it is small or big. But regardless, very interesting info, I will definitely do some digging.
These are great listens if you have the time. They convinced me nuclear is really the only viable option we know of for a stable base load. Many people are still stuck thinking of nuclear as what it was 50 years ago, which isn’t their fault. Modern nuclear reactors are much more efficient and safer, but we never hear about them or any of the advancements in the area from our typical news sources. Essentially, most of the populations perception of nuclear is simply outdated.

Thanks for sharing. Before I find time to listen to the podcast can you explain briefly what the modern solution is to deal with waste?
Can you explain briefly what the modern solution is?
No doubt the waste is radioactively toxic that’s why they seal it in concrete and lead and bury deep underground (which is basically leaving problems to future generation to deal with). The ideal solution would be sending nuclear waste to the sun but that’s “too expensive”. At least that’s my understanding on current technology. Did I miss some modern solutions?
That's all folks, #Taiwan is lost. Good to be a "friend" of the #US because if heat goes up you will be fucked over (as expected). 🤢
"Blinken in China: "We do not support Taiwan independence."

It is tricky in Taiwan-China relationship. They are not two countries and they are not one country neither. This speech just says nothing changes.
What if I am voluntarily coerced? Like go to work 🤔
Don’t say that too soon, it is only a matter of time before the spam crack Iris filter. The only way to prevent spam is cost to spam.
It took longer than I anticipated to have spam flooding Nostr. This is inevitable when creating accounts and posting both cost nothing. That is why paid relay is the only way. More precisely I would like to join and only join pay-per-post relay. Pay or play with the spam/AI/ads bots, the choice is clear to me.
AI pumped stock market like crazy, job market is hot, no signs of economy slowing down, real estate is expected to land soft. Great! The prerequisites of recession are all set.
Great I didn’t know iPhone is open source, learnt something today. Now I am going to install linux on my iPhone. Tell me where can I get the bootloader.
People lose through gambling shitcoins, playing leverages, chasing yields. With #bitcoin, you win by doing nothing (other than proper storage). Enjoy your peace of mind and be thankful to the people moving you up the bitcoin hodler ladder.
I get your point of trade offs. I am talking about control. Did you get that?
“Software and hardware off one hand” is control, unless I missed something? Centralization = control, that’s how it works out.
Decentralization is a new thing, I am not saying it is the answer for everything but it shall have its merits. Something may be better to stay centralized while something should be decentralized. Where to draw the line? I don’t know. Should we stop trying new things because someone is a fan of “Apple Idea”? I don’t think so. I was an Apple fan as well, not anymore. PV
