Being in a a bubble of one ideology is super dangerous. Centralised system expect it. Even if it was never intended by the founders, gov’t will intervene to ensure they reap. AT protocol has to remain independent from Bluesky. This said with good intentions so that it works as the vision originally was.

Should not require a larger instance to run a relay. Perhaps equivalent of 65,000 Sats a month. Does it need to be in Iran or can be in Bahrain or somewhere near to not be blocked?
Someone there could run local relay and stream to/from Tor .onion relay.

Paid relays are not a sustainable model. If you pay a one time fee there is no incentive to keep the relays up and highly available for the ones hosting. Along with storing historical notes long term. With more users comes more overhead costs. So even if hadlve the same number of signups a month the usage could be exponential month on month. Subscription is another option but not user friendly for monthly usage seems.
Always interested in new approaches to relays, Spam filtering, and keeping at least base relaying free. This is essential to onboarding new users that may not be Bitcoiners.
There is support for nostr.build in 0.41.0. Is a choose list when hit the add image.
