Either zaps catch on or itās a bubble. All I really care about honestly is the decentralization of Nostr, same with bitcoin. One thing I donāt like about Nostr is the intrusiveness of the data and how it sticks to your profile. Itās like can I remain anonymous and keep my addresses private or does everything have to be open. Idk open one door and more doors open. Security vs privacy and necessity. This is the most open Iāve been on a platform due to my personal risk assessment towards being identifiable in any manner online.
Iāve been thinking about this for the last hr and only thing I could think of is satoshis arenāt small enough to scale for this. Eventually users will get burned out by realizing they zapped more than a twitter blue sub, or YouTube sub etc. people like free and to be incentivized but once they arenāt incentivized the loss the euphoria
