users can change clients at any time and will strongly benefit from client specialization

I don’t see a way to choose a custom Image uploader server (especially to upload something directly to say a private gallery in nostrcheck.me) in both Damus and Amethyst. Would that be added any time by any chance? I’m sure there might be some users who like to host their own media server and would prefer that to be used as the image uploader for their notes.

Some clients only want to support specific event kinds and thus don't show up to 40% of the content others do. While others use different relay sets and smart algos to find replies that are interesting to you and show them in the main feed. Some show everything even if they have not been able to load previews or posts while others hide everything until they download and are able to display all the dependencies at once.

Lots of experiments. But, more importantly, there are many diverse opinions from client authors on what the main feed should have and look like. And that's awsome!

you don’t need a nip for this. nips are for coordinating between clients. There is nothing to coordinate here. It’s just a local relay for notes.

The other clients used were Nostur, Plebstr, Snort. The relay it defaults to in Damus is nos.lol
