Got scammed in telegram last night trying to buy miners. Pretty sophisticated grift using a 10,000 member fake group (looked legit) and multiple accounts dm’ing me all saying it was legit. Despite the many 🚩 along the way, I persevered and sent a fuckton of sats to this asshole.

Looking back, it was clear as day I was getting played but in the moment, all I could see was a mountain of KYCfree sats rolling in. Greed got the best of me. I am gutted. Expensive lesson learned. Stay vigilant, stay skeptical, stay humble, stack sats. #[0]​ #plebchain

I’ve never liked so never used it. But I wanted to start mining so I jumped into a home mining group I thought was a safe place and got bent as soon as I asked for help. I feel so violated and gullible. Gonna take a lot of compassion to forgive myself.

Tell me why I shouldn’t sell half my small stack for hosted miners (kaboom) ? My logic tells me it’s a win win win (value of miner ⬆️, value of bitcoin mined ⬆️, miner profitability ⬆️) . Risk: hosting services, potential regulatory roadblocks, miner reliability, price crash. Also, anyone familiar with the Canaan 1246?

Phoenix usually doesn’t let me send regardless of the amount until I restart the app. Says the invoice is greater than my balance. Doesn’t sound like the same issue you’re having but strange nonetheless.

Watched the MH370 docuseries last night. What the actual fuck!? Planes just don’t fall off the face of the earth. Someone knows what happened. Supposed credible sources point to US coordinated cover-up. Also, can’t believe that was 8 years ago. Those poor families. Eroded my trust in the gov even more and motivated me to stack harder. 🖕the empire.
