I floated over the weekend. First time in some years. Came to the awareness that I've been animated by ego and that it's concerns are so unbelievably narrow and selfish. The "I" who I actually am is one that leads with love and is so much broader than what my ego is. It's astounding to observe how much my ego operates in a state of deep and unrelenting fear and when I truly reflect on what I need; it's very, very little outside of my health, and that of my family and friends.
I never felt comfortable enough there to really participate. I'd always thought it was because I wasn't into social media or something. I didn't know it was just the fact that I never found community like I have here and that I was always fighting against the invisible hand of the algorithm.
