Looks amazing! You’re really quick on implementing features. Nice work! Love the Lurky Lurkerson play on names.
That’s neat. I think we might be able to generalize part of this problem space with the calendar event NIP I’m working on.
Just finished watching Star Trek: Picard Season 3 today. Such fan service to Trekkies and homage to The Next Generation and other series. End credits music and visuals hit all the nostalgia points. 🖖🏼
Yep! It’s the best. We have the Alamo Season Pass so we get one free movie per day. Super comfortable seats, clean theaters, and good food.
With great power comes great responsibility.
I’m not building a calendar app but I’m thinking about proposing a NIP that could be used to build one. nostr:note18j0lve5epgwl70x3pkwhj9h9fm78yr2tr6g33ugzyaj5ltk22r4qz7c6eg
Damus TestFlight! Also included are my fixes for actual BOLT11 profile zaps, NIP-27 nostr:npub URI mentions instead of deprecated NIP-08 #[index] tag mentions, and truncation of long profile attributes from spammy profiles. nostr:note1fmg8c3r7rzxrj59cs8da6q7z9gm59cs500ls4hccl8mnxt5k8wrqd370dh
Can’t wait to use it! It’ll work wonders for me as a pleb web developer.

I haven’t made the leap yet. One of the things holding me back is figuring out where and how to securely store it physically.
With the downfall from Reddit’s horrendous policy decisions, https://zapddit.com/ seems like a good alternative to promote. #[0] could we open up zapddit for read only access, and also add functionality for creating a new keypair? It would help onboard users, especially those who are dropping off of Reddit.
Wow, I used Reddit is Fun extensively back in the day. Sad. Open protocols are the only answer to this problem here.
Apollo (Reddit iOS client) is shutting down at the end of the month. It’s worth reading Christian Selig’s (Apollo creator) post about it. It’s quite disappointing that Reddit decided to strong arm its developers and customers into a closed platform, and it ultimately hurts everybody and themself. Nostr fixes this problem.

That’s just a bug that hasn’t been fixed yet. We’ll get to it. Sorry about that!
I’m surprised #[2] doesn’t have a vanity Primal link already.
Working on a NIP proposal for conference session events (for use in nostr:npub1c0nfstrlj0jy8kvl953v84hudwnpgad0zx709z0ey7nmjp0llegslzg243 ) and I realized this design could potentially be generalized further for any kind of calendar event with some intersection with what nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z suggested. A conference could just be a calendar (list of sessions modeled as calendar events) with some extra bits of metadata on top. I’ll try to put out a pull request soon. nostr:note125c69p7p8fj0jsfyqejpksd8e7edpludjl7yer2lywauq9gvfunslq6ftt
