So I had them on Etsy for a bit, but that felt kinda... dumb. I'm exploring Bitcoin-based selling platforms right now, and plebian market seems like the best choice for me. But sadly they require verification through the bird app and my account there is not visible yet. Honestly getting a bit frustrated but not giving up. At this point, I'm sitting on a comically large stack of these and making more just cuz it's fun. The first platform that I find that works, I've got a flood to unleash.... if you have any recommendations that'd be awesome.
I admire your optimism, but my uncle who's awesome at the stock market said that this was the weak point of Bitcoin. It'll get hacked by quantum AI and go straight to zero. True story.

I think they were, actually. Wasn't that to point of them? To literally co-opt the power of God to coerce people to act against their own interests and morals? What you're experiencing now is government at its finest.
My first thought would be that if they stopped direct taxation, it would too clearly reveal the real game being played. Middling people might ask "if they don't need my tax money, how will they pay for muh roads?"
People who claim to have boundless creativity can't fathom a world where you can get from your home to someone else's home without a conduit built by thieves.
