**Bisq Easy on Mobile**
It’s never been easier to get Bitcoin — peer-to-peer and privacy-preserving over Tor.
We’re happy to announce that Bisq Easy is now available for Android — both as an APK and on the Google Play Store.

Your phone runs a P2P node over the Tor network — just like Bisq on desktop.
Tor is fully integrated, no extra setup required.
When the app goes into the background, network connectivity usually remains active for a while (depending on usage and system resources).
If it disconnects, the app automatically reconnects within seconds when reopened.
Why no iOS (yet)?
Bisq is built in Java, which integrates easily with Android but not with iOS.
A full rewrite for iOS would be a prohibitive effort.
But stay tuned — we’re working on Bisq Connect, a companion app that acts as a “remote control” for your desktop or VPS-hosted Bisq node, also running over Tor.
It will be available for both Android and iOS.

Dé vraag die al eeuwen nooit volledig, naar ieders tevredenheid, beantwoord is. Misschien is het ook helemaal niet mogelijk om iedereen tevreden te krijgen en zullen er altijd superieure en inferieure samenlevingen blijven bestaan. Eigenlijk een heel geruststellende gedachte en ook super logisch.
Maar op e.a. manier is, bij ons in het Westen, 'Democratie' de enige juiste manier om je samenleving in te richten. Zo worden we opgeleid, klaar gestoomd als stemmer en tot sociaal wezen gevormd vanaf de geboorte. Het heeft ons veel welvaart, rijkdommen en geluk opgeleverd (ten kosten van?).
Echter zijn we blind geworden voor de bijbehorende nádelen van democratie. Een simpele Google-actie levert deze website op waar (volgens mij) samengevat staat wat iedereen moet weten:

O.a. Meerderheidstirannie, Invloed van geld, Populisme en polarisatie en Instabiliteit zijn dus dingen die je gratis erbij krijgt. Als je door klikt is één van basis beginselen van Democratie: kritisch denken.

Onze kinderen krijgen een prima leven met de technieken en inzichten die ze vandaag de dag kunnen vergaren via 1000de kanalen die wij vroeger niet hadden. Weliswaar een volledig ander 'prima leven' dan dat wij vroeger leiden; maar het komt goed ! 💟🤘🏼
