From that day on, there will only be 1 million Bitcoin left to be mined (actually 999,999.99999997) due to technical rounding in the protocol) over the next 114 years. Let that sink in.
I have gained a lot from X particularly since Elon started to change things.
Friendships, new perspectives and a strong bitcoin community.
However, I am seeing more undesirable and disturbing content in my feed, and realised that it trends towards the lowest common denominator.
Starting from last week I have begun to reclaim my time, reclaim my mind from the algorithm on X.
How?
Early morning walks and bike rides to reset my thoughts.
Reading books instead of scrolling phone. Mainly science-fiction but also dipping back into my bitcoin library.
Nostr for the Bitcoin content without the noise.
Gym and sauna sessions. 5 times a week.
Evening chats with my wife and young son while we read books together.
Playing piano with my son.
Evening prayers.
The result?
Thoughts are changing, mind seems more agile. Happier, more connected and contented. Simple but effective.
Sleeping restful 8 hours a night.
