i am open to being wrong, tho i am quite certain i am not, i can vaguely see a model where anyone can earn sats easily and so people post in a valued manner, aka behave themselves because of reward incentives and maybe a low friction way to onboard people is created

nostr needs to consider the friction of other social platforms, i for example wont use twitter or discord or facebook because of the phone number requirement, thats friction

the thing that caught me with nostr was anigma, you load it up and you can chat, there was no friction, say i made some social connections then well i could keep that id and move thru the nostr ecosystem which is now growing way faster

to me nostr is attracting people that get it, they see the problems with social and see solutions and are willing to speak louder than words, speak code

we are hardly ever always right but nostr is evolving in a quite beautiful open way, we are witnessing history

iris.to works well

if we can share blocking and follows would be a good start, curated lists are the basis

nostr is not just to replace twitter, but can replace any digital place we interact, github really needs a nostr replacement, many coders dislike github, nostr means devs have a much lower barrier to talk with anyone on anything
