The top things annoying me right now:
1. No profile caching
2. Large uncollapsed events
3. Messy, unsummarized notifications
4. Stutters (almost done fixing this one!)
Now that we have basic zap support I will spend more time on polish this week and next
Collapsing longer notes by default would go a long way to making the feed look cleaner for sure.

The stutters are the worst. I can live with almost everything else, though some are testing the large notes that take some scrolling to overcome.

How do usernames work on nostr? Like what would happen if I tried to set my username to “@jb55?”
You can definitely set it to that. Usernames are not unique...it's up to followers to make sure to follow only with real person and identify what's "real" some other way. NIP-05 is one way

On #3 it would also be great to be able to mute notifications from a certain note. Like if you get mentioned and it is getting a lot of activity - I guess this falls under messy so you may already have it planned

Because the limited blockspace should be reserved for bitcoin transactions and lightning channels. I run a full archival node and the thought that my hdd space is being used for monke jpegs at a discounted rate is gross to me
I for one hope we can at least agree on a very long moratorium on any more blocksize increases… the only thing that should be on the table is a blocksize decrease as far as I can tell
