Yeah they're case sensitive from what I've seen. Unrelated but maybe you know, I'm trying to have multiple usernames verified to same domain. In the nostr.json file I have multiple username/pubkey value pairs separated by commas, but 1 works and other doesn't. Is that syntax correct or something else is needed?
But still clients individually query servers directly or they check relays and relays do the checking themselves?
NIP-05 don't exist in relays afaik. Clients query the URL and verify if your pubkey exists in that URL service server
You put the NIP-05 info as the username. Just put awayslice as username and full one as NIP-05
