Does your NIP-05 only exist on some of your relays? Or does it get broadcast to all your connected relays? I’m surprised how many prominent bitcoiners that come over from Twitter still don’t have one, that I can see at least. Every time I see one I check and we have relays in common, so it makes me think they just haven’t bothered to set one up.

Look at my name. I just keep the @ because if I add a user name it puts a line break on my name and makes it look ugly. I have emojis.
It only exists on the relays that you broadcasted your profile metadata to.
Ok so it’s possible some of them may have one but I’m just not connected to the relay it’s on. I wish that at least our profile metadata was automatically shared between relays whenever we update it.
I can't speak for everyone but I'm only interested in sending sats to newbies and devs, not receiving them.

NIP-05 don't exist in relays afaik. Clients query the URL and verify if your pubkey exists in that URL service server
