على رأي المثل.. لا تشكي لي، أبكي لك..
Anyway... Looking for a new job, hoping it's less agonizing, and dreaming of owning my own fiat mine in which no one can tell me what to do, and hoping one day of not needing a fiat mine to begin with.
My fiat mine has become such a weight on my shoulders. I joined in January. Four months later, I realize that its projects are going nowhere. Especially that the whole mandate is to amalgamate many different projects that already exist in the organization. The amount of politics that my superiors have to play just to intergrate one project is beyond anything I've seen. Every other department only pretends to help, but don't want to lose control over their projects.
The only political leverage the department has it is funded and has the backing of the head of the organization. Not little, but only goes so long.
I was asked to join due to my technical experience in deep technologies that the department is supposed to integrate around. Turns out, I'm just another pair of hands and eyes to check through the checklists and support with "technical arguments" of how things should be done, without any real influence on anything. Needless to say, the job description I received and the interviews I had with them was in a completely different direction.
In short, I became a paper-pusher of sorts. This makes me just leave engineering behind and go open a restaurant somewhere. I don't want to deal with technology no more.
On the spiritual agony of useless jobs...
Eh... They won't go away, they're still in the lead. The decentralization ethos is way more important than one team.
Still moving to knots. And when a 3rd node software that can deliver the promises I'm looking for, I will move there too. All in the name of decentralization.
Oh wait.. You're an actual Knicks fan. I thought wou were just anti-Celtics like all of us. 😂
I set up my miners to Ocean, with data free ports.
It's not much, buts an honest day's work.
Next move my node to bitcoin knots. If any of you have a good raspberry pi tutorial I'd appreciate it. #AskNostr
Following, apply datum block builders.
أرى حشفًا وسوء كيلة..
Never do technical shit when you're tired...
I just checked the format partition box for /home when I was reinstalling Mint.
Now I have to reinstall everything. I'm just glad nothing important is in the machine.

Ugh tell me about it. Been wanting to read the Muqaddimah for a decade or more.. Only bought the book last October
Lol.. Right.. Trust them at your own risk..
This is to say that it works both in an individual level and a civilizational level. With some rephrasing to fit the narrative.
What a beautiful cycle.. Start anywhere and you'll find your life improving.
For me, I I'm not sure if I started with Strong Asabiyyah or Sound money.. Either way, the ball is rolling
If nothing comes out of the OP_Return drama thing other than diversifying the node code distribution, then it's a win.
After some reading, I don't thing it's a fully fledged war, and I don't think a real fork will come out of it. That's because neither side is actually changing any consensus rules.
Correct me if in wrong, but I think both sides have a valid argument. It's just a matter of technical practicality.
For me, I choose the strictly monetary transaction sides because I don't any goos reason to have anything else on the chain. Therefore, I'm switching my node (bitcoineCore 24) to Bitcoin Knots (pending further research).
Having said that, anyone that wants to pay their hard earned btc to fill a block with spam or any other useless shit, that's up to them. Pay market rate or more. They'll be able to anyway as no one can stop that regardless of the distribution of positions on this debate.
Maybe on the long run this will increase the average fee cost, but for now it's a free market.
Is this a fairly neutral position, not really. Again, I choose to have strictly monetary transactions on my node. I'm just saying, as far as I have researched, I won't be able to stop data-centric transactions.
