Supply sitting at 2.5MM BTC if I'm reading it right. Problem is I know multiple holders that don't have the commitment that bitcoiners do and will bring their coins out of cold storage. That cold storage is usually set up by a bitcoiner friend of theirs.
Self custody Bitcoin is by far better. However for me I could buy this stock in a UK tax free ISA, might be similar for USA.
There's a potential upside in Bitcoin yield which from what I can tell only works because there's a premium on the stock. That premium needs to remain or you'll end up with less Bitcoin when you sell and buy Bitcoin. It's not without risk.
In an ETF your Bitcoin per share actually decreases. Compound yearly with the ETF fees that will be less than 1%. However substantial over the long term.
I used to say I would never move to USA mainly because I'll be on some list for googling 911 too many times. However with UK going the way it is, I would now be happy to go to America.
